rasty: Saw this building in a Phoenix overhead shot during the MLB All-Star game, and I couldn’t help but think back to Fall 2008. I interviewed for what I felt was a great career opportunity at Wells Fargo’s Phoenix division, but it didn’t work out. Crazy to think how different my life might be if the banks hadn’t collapsed, if Wells Fargo didn’t merge with Wachovia, if I had been offered that position, if I was currently living in Phoenix, etc. I’m not a believer of “everything happens for a reason”, but I will say I’m glad things turned out the way they did. Funny how things fall into place.
